I can be hired by individuals or district science departments for the following coaching services. Coaching sessions can be done in-person or virtually:

Unit/Activity Creation Collaboration:
Do you have a unit or activity that needs an overhaul? Feel like there's a better way to meet the objectives, but you can't figure it out? Let's work together to build activities for your areas of need. Creative curriculum creation is my strength.

Assessment Overhaul:
We'll take a look at your current assessment(s) and figure out ways to make them more authentic and deeper-level.

Teaching Hacks:
Let's work together to determine how we can make your teaching life easier- where you can implement little hacks to save time, energy, and frustration.

Workshops

I can be booked to speak at your conference, workshop, or in-service on any of the following topics, virtually or in-person. Have an idea that's not listed below? Let's chat.

Creative Assessments
Need ideas for engaging, creative, and authentic formative and summative assessments? Are you craving ways to make grading more streamlined and time-saving? In this workshop, we'll cover a plethora of ideas to utilize in your secondary classroom.  (90 min)

Teaching Hacks
Learn tips, tricks, and ideas to save you time, help you organize your classroom in creative ways, strengthen relationships with students, implement active learning strategies, improve your classroom management skills, and more. This is the information I wish I had as a new teacher- but even if you're a few years in or a veteran teacher, you'll probably learn some new tricks! (90 or 120 min)

Flipping the Science Classroom
Learn the nuts and bolts of running a flipped classroom. Learn not only how to do the flip, but also how to handle students who don't come with the video done, how to boost motivation, handling absences and tech issues, and more. (90 min)
